Ben Poelmans is co-founder of Amazing Cultures. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Antwerp and is a Systemic NLP Master Practitioner and Business Alchemist.

In 1998, Ben started his career at Cantab, a B2B marketing agency in Amsterdam delivering end-to-end projects for national and international challengers and market leaders in complex B2B environments. As an intrapreneur, he launched his first start-up within the company, successfully expanding the business into the Belgian market and preparing an international team for later expansion into France and the UK.

After leading the Belgian branch for several years, he moved from intrapreneurship to entrepreneurship and founded Velocitas. His core belief was that a holistic approach is essential and that company culture and business development must be treated as one integrated whole. After building Velocitas into the Belgian market leader in ICT business development, working with start-ups, scale-ups and multinationals, he transformed the company into an organism of self-managing teams and led a major shift in its core activities toward high-level market development consulting, now known as Merluno.

In recent years, helping companies create Amazing Cultures has become more than a profession for Ben. It has become a way of life. Within Amazing Cultures, he acts as the inspirer and guardian of the vision.
